What You Did in a Past Life Will Come Back to Haunt You in the Present by Diana McManus

The old saying ďWhat you do will come back to haunt youĒ certainly has come up in many conversations. However, most people associate this saying with things in the present life and not with a past life. What most people donít realize is this saying has more to do with a past life memory and not with the present. This situation rings true for my oldest son and I to account for situations going on in our present life.

My oldest son has had a lot of legal issues in this life with not following rules which has resulted in him breaking laws and paying a lot of fines. He did get in trouble with the law several years ago with possession of a controlled substance and has been on probation for five years along with paying thousands of dollars worth of fines. In the meantime, he has failed to get auto insurance and his vehicle inspected which also resulted in more fines. What he doesnít realize is that his failure to comply to rules so he doesnít have to pay fines results from a past life memory as a judge in France during the French Revolution in which he was my father in that life time. As a judge, he imposed high fines on people for petty crimes and when people couldnít pay, he would throw them in jail to pay off the fines. His guilt for imposing his strict rules on the poor in that life and sending them to jail when they couldnít pay is causing him to become a victim of the US legal system in this life by not listening to the rules and having to pay fines.

I have had a similar situation although I listen to rules and donít have the fines to pay. I have had trouble finding stable work from being laid off several years ago from a big corporation and also a trade school after working for three years. I have been self-employed and work part time, but Iíve been seeking a part time job and havenít been getting a job although I do interview. Unfortunately other people have been picked over me. This situation comes from a past lifetime I had as a drunken cowboy who shot buffalo with Buffalo Bill Cody around the late 1800ís. After I rode the range with Buffalo Bill Cody, I settled down in a town in Wyoming and worked at a saloon as a bartender. I ended up winning a lot of money in a poker game and bought myself a ranch nearby. When I hired people to work on the ranch, I made them work long hours with little pay. Then I would fire them for petty reasons and hire someone else. I felt people were indispensable and didnít value their work so I am experiencing that feeling now with some of the companies I have worked for and feeling that I donít deserve the job. So when I interview for a job and someone else gets the job, it brings back these feelings from that past lifetime.

Both of these present day situations with my son and I involve money, but the past life situations donít have to do with money in general. They really involve people. So much of our karma is based on our relationships with people and we get ourselves into present situations out of guilt relating to those people so we can learn a good lesson from it. It is up to us to turn a potentially negative situation into a positive one.
